How Young is Too Young to Date?
What are your thoughts/experiences? Can it work out? A guy I like is 2 years younger than me (I'm a senior, he's a sophomore) which is huge in high school!. 29 Jun I'm dating this great guy, but he's 14 and I'm I'm really starting to like him, but I know it can't get serious because of our age difference. But should age really matter?. In every high school, there's almost certainly going to be a hot jock type dating a lucky underclassman; it's a given. I don't see why an older girl dating a younger guy should be any weirder than an older guy dating a younger girl. Personally, I've never really dated a guy younger than me, but I say go for Dating A Younger Guy High School if you like him! I don't recommend dating younger guys, just because girls mature faster so, especially at your ages, there's quite a bit of difference in maturity.
I dated a younger guy a few years ago and it was hard because he didn't Dating A Younger Guy High School and was somewhat immature about things. My current boyfriend of a year who I live with in 7 years older than me though, so some people would say our age difference is too big, but since we're both in our twenties and at similar stages in our lives, it works really really well.

However, you seem to only know that he's attractive to you and not much about his personality, so you should probably get to know him better so as to assess whether dating him is a good idea or not before you make a move. Also, keep in mind that once you graduate you're life will change a lot and he'll still be in high school for another two years, so a long-term thing is probably not in the cards for you two. I think we're only a year a part or two.

Age doesn't mean anything, really. I liked a guy in the year below I think I was a little less than a year older than him since he was borderline for his year group. But in the end it didn't work out and that really really sucked. But I would have regretted it had I not done anything about it so I'm glad I did.
