This place has it all. The staff is helpful and friendly, camp sites are spacious and always well taken care of. New visitor center in is gorgeous. Great fish cleaning station and RV dump station.
Roughrider Campground is located in the northern region of the state, near the Souris River. This facility provides spacious RV sites, as well as plenty of exciting amenities such as sporting fields, nature trails, and outdoor games. The campground is also perched alongside a river and lake, so you know you can expect beautiful views and a bounty of water-based activities to enjoy!
Very kid-friendly park and very safe. We felt right at home here! Very easy campground to find your site, spacious sites, all very well-maintained.

Big pull-thru sites, the owners have worked hard to make lovely improvements to the park and they are so nice and helpful. Would stay there again! This popular state park is located in the far north-east of the state, in the city of Cavalier. Despite its scenic views and secluded atmosphere, the state park is still equipped with modern facilities. Not only is it extremely beautiful, but it also includes a sand swimming beach, picnic areas, boat ramp and a fishing dock. Enjoyed the lake, well cared for beach, trails, biking, and camping restroom facilities.
The lake is quite large, and deer abound. This is a very desirable place to go with your family. The national park is located in the north-western region of the state, in the popular and historic city of Medora. The Little Missouri River also passes through the area. This stunning national park provides guests with a whole range of outdoor activities to enjoy, such as bicycling, canoeing, kayaking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, wildlife viewing, and self-guided nature trails.

One of our favorite National Parks. Most people go to the south park but you are missing some amazing scenery if you miss the north park. The trails are very good. Jamestown Campground is based in east North Dakota, in the city of Jamestown. This campground operates from May 1st — Oct 16 th each year and is a great place to spend some of your summer days at!
Not only does it provide some of the finest RV-friendly amenities such as full hookups, pull-throughs, wireless internet, etc. The sites are good-sized, with mostly pull-throughs. The grounds are immaculately groomed with flower boxes all around.
