Please try again later. Kindle Edition Verified Purchase. Shmuley is on to something here. Simply wanting sex more often hasn't been the answer to what I've been craving and I haven't been able to pin it down and articulate to my husband just what I was wanting from him.
Shmuley explains it so well, getting that playful passion back into our relationship is just what the doctor ordered. There were things in the book that were helpful; so I give it three stars. However, from a Christian perspective, I find the constant references to the Talmud, Kabala, and Tantric sexual traditions disturbing. Some of the advice to couples in his books seem risky and even even dangerous; again from a conservative Christian perspective.
I was raised in a home with little stability and I absorbed much of the chaos that surrounded me. He is very firm on monogamous marriage, against pornography, and points all fantasies about sex toward ones spouse; all of which agree in principle to Chritian teachings. For instance; in several examples, when a man has lost sexual interest in his wife; he advises the wife to dress provocative and visit a bar, allowing men to buy her drinks etc, while her husband sits in the background observing.
While more info seemed to fix the problem of the husbands waning desire for the present, I cannot help but believe that it would have harmful effects on the woman in the long run. It's not hard to see, that once a bored, sex hungry wife has had this experience, it would be difficult for her to ever forget the attentions of strange men, who the author describes as having swarmed around the wife, vying for her attention.
Short term fix; long term problem, doesn't make for good advice. However, in all fairness, I have to say I agree with the author more than I disagree.

I love this author. All of his books can be life changing if you appreciate and apply his suggestions to your life. This is click for singles wanting to get married; married persons whose passion and romance has waned and needs rejuvenation; and those just simply looking for ideas to spice up their relationships.
Puts a lighter note on sex and makes things a little easier and not so hard to talk about with your spouse. Learned a lot from this book. Contrary to the common belief, there plenty of things to learn from this book. Some real good insights on how to practice the Tanrik love making.
